The SQL Visualizer application is made up of 3 distinct areas, Toolbars and menus,
navigation, and tabbed windows.
The menu and toolbars can be dragged to rearrange them, or docked to any side of the application. N.B. This layout is only preserved while the application is running; when the application is re-opened it will default back to the standard layout.
The navigation window can be unpinned to provide more space for the main tabbed windows area. Click the pin button to unpin the window.
When the window is unpinned you can move your mouse over the tabs and they will expand and can be used as normal.
When the mouse is moved back out of the navigation window it will collapse again.
While an unpinned window is expanded you can click the pin button again to re-pin the window.
The main tabbed window is where queried can be edited and Object Views appear.
Each page is displayed under a tab to allow you to easily switch from one window to another.
You can re-arrange the order of the windows by dragging and dropping the tabs from one position to another.
You can also position windows so you can see more than one at a time. Drag a tab away from the tabs at the top of the area and dock at the sides or bottom. Windows can only be displayed in a horizontal or vertical layout, so once the first window has been docked this will dictate how other windows can be laid out. Windows can freely be moved from one tabbed group to another.
To achieve the same result without drag and drop you can use the context menu displayed when over a tab.
